Hello, and welcome to my corner of the internet! I’m Holly, stay-at-home-mom by day and night, and photographer / baker / reader / knitter in my spare time (and Catholic all the time!). I have a degree in photography from Notre Dame – they even put my stuff in a museum briefly:
I have my mom to thank for my ability to cook, clean, and sew, and from my dad I get my height and love of shopping at Menards.
We met in 2007, I thought he was cute, and the rest is history.
This blog is where I keep track of our daily lives, hobbies, roadtrips, and the occasional deep thought. Photos, recipes, baby milestones, and book reviews are all fair game here.
And finally, the name of this blog? A little tribute to Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (for my money, one of the greatest movies of all time), when the Jones’ search for the Holy Grail takes them into the heart of Nazi Germany. “My boy,” says Sean Connery, “We are pilgrims in an unholy land.”
All photos taken by me or lifted from the facebook pages of close friends or family, unless otherwise noted.
